Excellent South African Riesling with distinctive aromas of petrol on the nose.
The Riesling, from vines planted in 1980, has quite a reduced nose that is attractive in its own way. The palate is nicely balanced, quite simple and primary with lime and grapefruit notes on the entry, a keen thread of acidity but with a composed finish.
