Bussia was the first single vineyard Barolo, produced for the first time in 1961.
The area is one of the true superstars of the entire appellation, producing wines of great finesse.
Prunotto’s Bussia is aged in oak barrels of varying capacities (but no barrique) for about 18 months
A powerful wine which, on the nose, has perfumes of plum and ripe cherry with hints of flowers and spicy aromas. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and profound, with a soft texture and a long finish.
